Match Report Press Report

Wykeham Exiles 4 Lost to Fair Oak 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 86 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Robert Williams winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 132 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player and Player of the match, Geoffrey Sherwood.
